Rehito Hatoyama began his career at Mitsubushi Corporation, and then served as managing director of Sanrio Co., Ltd., leading corporate strategy, global business development and new businesses such as IT. He currently serves as Outside Director of several listed companies including DeNA Co., Ltd., LINE Corporation, Pigeon Corporation, Transcosmos Inc., and Z Holdings Corporation. Rehito holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Shion Okamoto is an attorney-at-law in Japan and New York. She provides counsel mainly in M&A and corporate restructuring for clients in Japan and overseas. She leads new investments in startups and fund management as a venture capitalist in Japanese CVC.

David Marx is the author of Ametora, his first book in 2015 which analyzes Japan’s fashion and culture through the lens of American traditional style. It was first published in the US, and then Japan, Taiwan, China, and Korea. His second book Status and Culture, published by Viking Books in 2022, explores why things become popular and how culture changes. David worked as the senior director of PR at Google Asia-Pacific for 13 years. He also has rich experience working with numerous global retail brands.

Hiroshi Yugeta is an attorney-at-law and a patent attorney in Japan. After registering as an attorney-at-law in 2000, he worked at several law firms and established Kobayashi & Yugeta Law Office. From 2007 to 2015, he served as External Corporate Auditor of Zenrin Co., Ltd. He has also served as an associate professor at a law school in Japan.
