NIGO designs new logo and artwork for Complex’s 20th anniversary

Based in New York, Complex Networks is a global entertainment network spanning youth culture, lifestyle and a range of other sectors. To celebrate the media company’s 20th anniversary, Complex Networks invited NIGO to remix its logo.

Complex plans to use the exclusive logo and artwork throughout its birthday celebrations, which commenced in May and will run for six months. NIGO’s design marks the third time that the logo has been redesigned.


About the remixed logo and artwork
For the anniversary celebration, NIGO remixed the Complex logo, drawing inspiration from traditional “Edo-moji” lettering, as well as designing a Maneki-Neko graphic (Maneki-Neko is known to bring good luck and fortune). The logo and artwork featured on merchandise released exclusively at “ComplexLand 3.0” from May 25 to 27.
