HUMAN MADE Inc. has produced a range of charity T-shirts to support “The Way I See It: Selections from the KAWS Collection”, an exhibition curated by the company’s adviser and world-renowned contemporary artist KAWS. The exhibition is scheduled to open this month at The Drawing Center in New York.
“The Way I See It” is a wide-ranging interpretation of “drawing” and presents more than 350 works including comics, commercial illustrations, graffiti, sketches and other drawings from KAWS’ extensive personal art collection. Utilizing works from the exhibition, HUMAN MADE has produced special shirts, each an edition of 25, that will be released by The Drawing Center over the course of the exhibition.
All proceeds from sales will be donated to The Drawing Center, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1977, to support the future activities of the organization exploring the medium of drawing as primary, dynamic, and relevant to contemporary culture, the future of art, and creative thought.
