Buffer’s first drop features four T-shirts plus various souvenir goods. A range of illustrators and artists have been involved in the graphic design of the collection. Each creation reflects the diversity and richness of culture, while also connecting back to the brand itself. The main character, Buffy, originated from a rabbit graphic by art director Yuji Kamiyama. Merging with the world of “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland,” a story beloved by Nishiyama for many years, the rabbit functions as both a symbol of the brand and a guide.
Souvenir goods include socks, button badges, stickers, pins and air fresheners, capturing the essence of American souvenirs in the 1990s. The lineup reflects the kinds of accessible items one might casually pick up while travelling. Pricing will be based on standards from the ‘80s and ‘90s with the aim of making items affordable for high school-aged customers.
